UBI Official site is now operational - Bugs Fixed !!!!  Reply with quote

Looks like they have eventually got round to doing somethng with the officail web site.

about time

looks quite cool at first glance !! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Champions of Norrath to be released on June 25th

We are well aware that the delayed release of Champions of Norrathof was a great disappointment for many players. The release was postponed to allow us to fix a number of bugs present in the US version, especialy in the online mode and we can now assure you the UK version will be bug-free, regardless of the chosen mode. Champions, hone your swords, fasten your armour and get ready to fight hordes of blood-thirsty creatures with up to 3 friends both on and off-line!

Have you got a link? The teaser site is still a teaser site with a "Full site coming soon" message at the bottom

a lot seems carried over from the last one.

It mentiones playable demo with official ps2 mag this month.
i went out and bought it and the demo only lasts for a few minutes (really not long enough) but enough to wet the appetite.

Well that's nice news. Think the site is a let-down though. They've got the same info as the main CoN site; same item info (just some random pictures) and same creature info (3 creatures) and the same "More Info Coming Soon" promise which will NEVER get followed through as these promises never are.

I guess it's just a case of get the game, don't read about it! It'd be nice if there was a list somewhere of the bugs that have been fixed, and what the performance was like. What degree of blackout (pop-in) can we expect and how heavy-handed are the fire effects.

The best place I know of for ordering games is Play.com. Being based in the Channel Islands they don't have to charge VAT, so you get that saving as well. However think it's only posted on release day, not delivered to arrive then. I've a friend who'll be over there on the 25th who has ordered CoN and was wondering if he could pick it up from the warehouse!!

intersting find.
tesco say that they deliver on release day.
this i can believe as they pick your groceries that day and deliver so picking a copy of the game should not be difficult.
but then it is tesco.
cant risk it......must...have...it.

the demo disk i played seems to be the first couple of levels but on a time limit.
quite good as me and the wife can keep ourselves amused until release day by seeing how far we can get before the demo ends.

I ordered Diablo 2 from Tesco for 5 and I think it arrived the day after placing the order, so they seem good.

I wonder if there's going to be exclusive content not found in the US version. I'm sure it was worth the wait considering they probably took that extra time to fix the somewhat bug laden US version. Good thing we don't have to deal with another wave of glitch and bug stories.

It's a great game regardless of the bugs and that says a lot. Plus the sequel is just around the corner so we should all be pretty stoked.

Just re-ordered it with play.com with some other items as I had a 5% discount Voucher for orders over 50, so I also got Buffy - Chaos Bleeds for 10, and This is Football 2004 for 18 with 5% discount from all three, CON came to 28.49

Also Picked up a Multi-tap today, in readyness for some adventuring action.
