WB Games Inc., developers of the recently released Gotham City Imposters, seeks a recruiting coordinator to partner with the Senior Recruiter, HR and business leadership to manage the staffing efforts of our Seattle based game development studios. Given our substantial growth in Seattle over the past several years, we need self-driven, collaborative problem solver who isn’t afraid to assist in improving processes that scale to our new business needs in addition to supporting the administrative aspects of our staffing effort. And, a love for video games and having fun with really cool & talented people won’t hurt!!
  • Handles all temporary and internship full cycle recruiting load. Owns approximately 10-25% of entry to mid-level full cycle FTE recruiting load. Source and screen entry level, temporary and internship applicants using Brass Ring and job boards. Track all activity as appropriate to established standard.
  • Conducts research in an effort to build current org. charts for competitor companies and generate supplemental passive candidate pool. Continually research new sourcing and posting options specific to niche and difficult to fill skill sets. Posts jobs as appropriate.
  • Audits, maintains and generates reports including team’s recruitment report, time to fill, and other executive reports as needed.
  • Tracks unsolicited resumes and executive referrals. Process employee referrals appropriate to established standards ensuring a positive experience for candidate and employee. Distribute referrals to appropriate leaders based on an appropriate assessment of the candidate’s skill set and knowledge of existing company organizations and discipline areas.
  • Facilitates and drives the planning of recruitment events in coordination with our other internal game development studios. Interfaces with appropriate marketing leaders to ensure our recruitment brand is in line with our studio brands specific to booth design, swag, etc. Design & develop effective/striking collateral that is on studio brand using desktop publishing software.
  • Conducts reference checks, schedules orientation, and prepares offer letters. Processes paperwork for all new hires. Close job files in BrassRing and forward appropriate paperwork to GBSI.
  • Schedules and coordinates interviews with recruitment and hiring managers. Assists Recruitment team with scheduling in-person or telephone interviews, conference calls, videoconferencing, etc. as needed. Greets candidates, clients and visitors; assists with the arrangement of parking, meals, lodging and transportation as needed. Arranges travel and hotel accommodations for Recruitment team and final round candidates as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1+ year of recruitment/HR experience preferred.
  • Experience in event planning, project management and/or content generation for public consumption highly desired.
  • Proficiency using BrassRing or other web based resume/data tracking system required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Event planning and/or project management experience highly desired.
  • Ability to generate effective and exciting content for recruiting collateral/online posts and a knowledge of publishing software like Photoshop, MS Publisher and InDesign highly desired.
  • An aptitude for navigating and utilizing online communities and social networking sites preferred.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and recruitment practices, regulations, and standards highly preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make reasonable judgments consistent in line with job duties and consistent with company policy and standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals on all levels in person or on the telephone.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume, high pressure environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be committed to quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Must demonstrate initiative; cooperation; resourcefulness. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime if/when required.
