SUMMARY OF POSITION
WB Games Inc. seeks a finance manager to join our Seattle team. As a finance manager you and your team will work closely with game development personnel in developing studio and project forecasts for a variety of popular game titles. This position will give you the opportunity to interact with senior management and producers as they formulate plans for future titles. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepared monthly forecast model updates for development projects based on input from development personnel.
  • Prepares monthly project variance analysis and presents to development studio management and publisher senior executives.
  • Prepares project scenario analysis for development management and green-light budget support.
  • Performs various special projects related to forecasting and complex analysis for business unit and related business units.
  • Works directly with team leads and studio producers to provide accurate and timely information to effectively manage and report against project budgets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • BA or BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics.
  • CPA and/or MBA required.
  • Seven or more years of financial analysis / general accounting experience and three or more years of process / project management experience.
  • Experience in software development and computer game industry preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, in person and on the telephone.
  • Must be able to work autonomously in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to identify issues and initiate solution effectively.
  • Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Must be able to multi-task, work under tight time constraints and meet deadlines.
  • Must have proficient computer and Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP and Essbase preferred.
