WB Games Inc. seeks a Community Manager to create, implement, and manage all community efforts for WB video games. All community efforts will involve the creation of a game-specific web-site, and an exhaustive community plan that maps community content to drive interest for WB games and studios. You will maintain a strong relationship with worldwide Marketing/PR and development teams, helping to support all three groups in the active promotion of a game. The Community Manager is also expected to create written and video content for both the Community and PR channels.
  • Evangelize game and studio presence in person and online in all appropriate venues.
  • Work with Development team to create and produce video and written content.
  • Establish Community campaign strategies in conjunction with Marketing/PR/Brand initiatives.
  • Regularly utilize and maintain contemporary social media tools to broaden game and studio awareness.
  • Track user content consumption, site traffic growth, user registration.
  • Coordinate Community events and content releases with overall game communication strategies.
  • Maintain quality relationships with Dev team, Marketing, PR, Legal and other cross functional groups worldwide.
  • Provide feedback to game teams/management regarding consumer sentiment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent marketing experience required.
  • Three or more years of online community experience, or equivalent experience in an adjacent field; and strong technical knowledge of community platforms, systems and software.
  • Experience with Community Management and extensive knowledge of the game industry.
  • Passionate about games and online Community.
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
  • Focused, results-oriented, self-motivated.
  • Leadership ability and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Video production/editing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work well with development teams.
  • Experience with website software, ideally both configuration and management.
  • A calm, focused, results-oriented attitude towards online community management and online communication.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends.
