WB Games Inc. seeks a Forum Administrator to work with the Community Manager to create, implement and enforce forum policies for individual WB video game titles. Document and respond to complaints on the forums and escalate to the Community Manager when appropriate. Responsible for banning, unbanning and reviewing user status according to forum rules established by the Community team at WB Games. Must build strong relationships with the Community and foster an environment where people can effectively communicate about the game.
  • Moderate forum complaints and respond to user questions.
  • Document and report health of Community to the Community Manager.
  • Recruit and manage moderators from the Community.
  • Create procedure documents and best practices for forum moderation.
  • Special requests (contests, sticky threads, announcements, etc).
  • Ban, un-ban, and review user’s status.
  • Associates degree or equivalent Community development experience required.
  • Three years of forum moderation experience, or equivalent experience in online Community interaction.
  • Strong knowledge of forum software and online community interaction.
  • Experience moderating online forums.
  • Knowledge of best practices for forum organization and rules.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Experience coordinating and managing volunteer community moderators.
  • Calm, composed and professional approach to online communication with fans, developers and vendors.
  • Passionate about videogames and online Community.
  • Ability to react to forum issues quickly and at all hours of the day or night.
  • Strong organization and ability to write clear reports.
  • Ability to resolve forum account issues.
  • Ability to manage forum contests and events.
