WB Games Inc. seeks a Sr. Production Mgr to be responsible for overseeing the optimal utilization of production resources throughout all phases of development across multiple projects and studios. On a day-to-day basis, the Sr. Production Manager is responsible for insourcing and outsourcing activities. This includes managing shared resource groups (e.g. Community/Marketing, Web, Cinematics, Audio, etc.), overseeing the assignment of available internal development staff to projects, coordinating staffing and skill needs across teams to align available talent with project needs, and managing vendor relationships. This position also works across studios to establish and improve production processes and supporting organizational structures.
  • Serve as the primary contact with assigned internal and external developers, outsourcers, throughout the production process and oversee processes that span multiple teams.
  • Manages the shared team resources across all of WB Seattle and the outsourcing front end for all of WB Seattle.
  • Budget management against their portion of the product P/L’s.
  • Develop strong relationships to establish and maintain a reliable and timely flow of information and materials to all parties as necessary.
  • Identifies and establishes required asset pipelines on the production side to ensure timely delivery of assets as required to promote and publish the finished product.
  • Works closely with WBIE Marketing and studio MGMs to ensure a smooth relationship and timely delivery of all necessary assets. Manages the MGM team in WB Seattle.
  • Ensures smooth process between WBG test, Production, Marketing etc.
  • Coordinates and liaises with all necessary departments and divisions to facilitate execution of projects and materials in a professional and client-centric manner. This includes keeping WB Games and WBIE department heads apprised of products status.
  • Works closely with the appropriate staff to research and identify and/or obtain clearances for all materials needed for Sales, PR, Marketing and Distribution use.
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with talent, creative and agents relating to feature film, TV, and publishing in coordination with Manager of Rights & Clearances and Legal.
  • Keep all key stakeholders informed of product status and vision through the preparation and presentation of appropriate project materials (including milestone updates, work-in-progress presentations, etc).
  • Manages brand assurances of assigned products adhering to Warner Bros. standards and brand approval requirements.
  • Manages services provided to the studios by shared resource groups conducting annual reviews, weekly face-to-face meetings, and other activities designed to ensure a smooth work flow.
  • Works with studio Exec Producers to identify staffing needs and arrange for shifting of resources from one studio to another to support production needs as well as needs for specific skills/experience.
  • Negotiates and oversees outsourcing of certain work to external vendors development personnel directly.
  • Assist the Executive Producers and General Manager: Creation and management of plans for helping with specific products. Creation, implementation and management of production processes, policies and procedures. Helps establish procedures for all of WB Seattle. Identifying and establishing approval pathways for all assigned projects. Improving and evolving the internal game production processes for the shared teams as well as WB Seattle.
  • Analyze competitive products and new business opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Work with other Warner Bros. and Time Warner divisions (including WHV, DD, GBM, Theatrical, Television and Animation) to identify and execute on titles in development.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Minimum 7 years experience working in the videogame industry.
  • Experience working as a Senior or Executive Producer or equivalent in the videogame industry preferred.
  • Successful track record in the development of high profile entertainment software products.
  • Proven track record with highly-sensitive, license-based projects.
  • Multi-language localization experience.
  • PC Skills: Windows environment, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Must have online/internet skills.
  • Excellent written, oral and email communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and work prioritization skills.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics, e.g. technical, business and creative.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, team oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules and high-stress environment.
  • At least 6 years of management experience.
